We’re excited to welcome four new members into the Ascend³ Network this week — all of whom joined after attending our recent in-person mastermind event. It’s always powerful to watch how proximity to the right people can shift momentum overnight.

Our members continue to make big moves. From strategic partnerships to exits and capital raises, the results speak for themselves.

On our end, we’re getting very close to finalising our next acquisition. With the bank mandate being updated and a minor lease adjustment underway, we’re nearly across the line. More details to follow — but this one’s big.

🧘‍♂️ Beyond Business
This week also included a deeply grounding experience — a plant medicine journey in Ibiza with 5 incredible brothers, guided by psychologist Lorahn Von Leibenstein. These experiences remind us that building wealth means little without clarity, alignment, and inner harmony.

Section 2 - Investment Opportunity: DataWollet: Now Raising 🚀

We return to previously mentioned business today and after months of building, DataWallet are excited to officially open their raise.

They have just launched the rebranded DataWollet app on the App Store, with a fully redesigned UX, a new financial health meter, and the first users are already onboard. Their financial insights engine is live, and they’re rolling out a browser extension this month to extend the product’s reach across desktop.

Since March, they’ve:

  • Been selected for the Sie Ventures Catalyst fundraising programme (14 startups from 300+)

  • Reached the regional finals of Tech Nation’s One to Watch (£1M prize)

  • Progressed in the Morgan Stanley Innovation Lab (top 6000 → next round)

  • Secured key partnerships with ScotWest, Clockwise, and Advanced Credit Union

  • Expanded our B2B pipeline significantly (our biggest challenge now is capacity, not demand)

The current burn is £17k/month with 4 months runway. This raise will allow them to scale delivery and meet growing market interest.

Section 3 - Property with Paul Langshaw: Renters Reform Bill: What Landlords Should Do Next

The Renters Reform Bill will be introduced gradually, with Section 21 abolition likely coming last after court systems are improved. Landlords should now focus on ensuring their properties meet the Decent Homes Standard and strengthening relationships with tenants.

Adopting property management technology will be key, as a new digital portal becomes mandatory. Financial forecasts should be updated to account for possible delays in possession and rising compliance costs.

Landlords offering well-maintained homes and long-term security will be well-positioned to charge premium rents. Those who adapt early are already seeing fewer disputes and reduced void periods.
