Section 1 - Weekly Update: Behind the Scenes of Our 5th Acquisition This Year

We’ve just entered the final stages of our fifth acquisition of 2025 — a deal that’s been six years in the making.

Back in 2019, we began conversations with the owners of a 127-year-old healthcare business. What followed was a masterclass in patience, persistence, and empathy: checking in regularly, listening closely, and consistently leaving a strong impression. The lesson? Meet sellers where they are — and play the long game.

This particular deal is special. We’ve partnered with an operator who has built and exited a near-identical business to PE, and we’ve structured an offer that’s both attractive and capital-efficient: 40% paid on Day 1 (funded by a group of seasoned angel investors), with the remainder deferred over 42 months and a bullet payment at the end.

We’re taking on a small loan, a well-stocked warehouse, and are finalising working capital adjustments — but most excitingly, our team just completed the last piece of diligence with an on-site visit. We came away impressed by the operational discipline and the exceptional team already in place.

We were approached this week by Tim Peara who is tackling the Opioid Crisis at Bridge Therapeutics Inc, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Birmingham, Alabama.
